back from Singapore

Finally back from Singapore on Saturday afternoon. This trip was to assist a colleague from German, Stefan in Corporate Governance audit. The work was expected to finish by noon Friday but due to unexpected problems, delay to 5.30pm.

This trip is originally assign to Taiwan FM. But according to my boss, the Taiwan FM schedule was not available at this time, therefore she ask for my volunteer. From my point of view will be Taiwan FM not available, Shenzhen FM on leave, Suzhou office ceased, Shanghai office ceased (Suzhou and Shanghai need to handle operation ceased process) and i am the only one which is very free after i back from Shenzhen support.

FC request me to arrive Singapore on Tuesday and back Penang on Friday which the purpose i went to Singapore is just to support on this. Usually when we are on business trip, we will go one day earlier and back one day later to have some time allowance if work cannot be done in time. I was not happy with this arrangement and was thinking to reject volunteer.

But, since i have no experience on this and i wanted to have a look on what to do. So, i accept the offer and submit trip application form to arrive Singapore Monday and leave on Saturday. Well, GM AP approved it.

Benefit of working with a European colleague is they will not let you pay any bills as they are gentleman. We have a great time.

Gathering with uni-mate was a chit chat time which we share some point of view in work and current situation we have.
